Valentines
Every year, when Valentine’s Day comes around, everything suddenly feels extra sweet. There are flowers, chocolates, handwritten letters, and cute posts online. People seem more thoughtful, more expressive, and more open about how they feel.
Valentines means not saving our kindness for February 14. It’s about checking in on a friend when they’ve been quiet lately. It’s about thanking your parents for the small things they do every day. It’s about telling someone you appreciate them, even when there’s no special occasion. Love doesn’t always have to be dramatic or expensive. Most of the time, it’s found in the simple things.
I’ve realized that the moments that stay with us aren’t always the big surprises. They’re the shared laughs, and the quiet support when things get hard. Those are the real Valentine’s Day moments unexpected, genuine, and warm. When we make love part of our everyday actions, it feels more real and less like a performance.
